It's really good - I hope you enjoy it! I don't have a recipe for peach/walnut jam, but I'd be cautious with canning it and not refrigerating it. The walnuts have a high fat content, and could spoil rather quickly. My wife made a fig/walnut jam that we kept in the fridge for a few months with no problem.

Hi. I have blueberries galore and also lots of lavendar so I am going to try this today. I remmeber a jam my mom used to make and I have looked all over the net for it....I have been unsuccessful. It was peach/walnut/ and I think maybe pineapple chunks. so good. do you have a recipe for this by chance. maybe i just need to be brave and experiment. I experimented last week with my own recipe for sweet and dilled green beans. so good...only wish i had written it down. lol

It's a beauty and a promise for a future harvest. Growing fruit takes patience When I think of plums I think of the trees Aunt Edie grew with small (2-3 inch) golden oval shaped fruit. Don't know the variety, but they were hardy trees, small sized and prolific. Def. NOT a variety that would thrive here :(

That's awesome. I have made a commitment to eating LESS meat, and I gave up cooking meat over a year ago, mostly 'cause I hate dealing with its pre-cooked form. Also I like it best on a grill which I can't have in my current apartment.

I am very excited to see more meatless meal ideas!
